Dr. Carole Clancy serves as the Director of Special Education for the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Her extensive experience includes more than twenty-seven years spearheading initiatives in the field of Special Education within her school districts. Ms. Clancy's role is to oversee the work of the Office of Special Education. Ms. Clancy earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from Millersville University. In addition, she has a Certificate of Special Education Supervision from Pennsylvania State University, a Certificate in Gifted and Talented Education from the University of San Diego, and her Superintendent's Letter of Eligibility from the University of California, Pennsylvania.
