In recent months, chatter has become louder about reforming how the country approaches education. There are numerous policy positions and legislative attempts being introduced and discussed and this workshop will bring to light the conversations surrounding and shaping education policy that leads to a variety of bills being introduced in state legislatures and Congress. The participants will learn about the potential impacts on deaf/special education and steps to take to become aware of potential effects on individual schools and programs.
